Just pouring tons of points into Intelligence and Wits, with some memory for spells, is the way to go. His Time Warp ability allows him to set up spell combinations even more nicely than usual, which is quite nice if you've got Source to spare. I personally enjoy playing Fane as an elemental wizard, either pyro/geo or aero/hydro. Elves make notably better necromancers due to flesh sacrifice, but otherwise everybody can do everything more or less equally.Ĭonsider giving Fane your thievery points, though, as his bone fingers means that you'll never need lockpicks. As most of the healing you will recieve will be through necromancy, the more damage you deal, the more you will heal through necromancy, the more magic armor will you regenerate through living armor. I also don't really follow that being a particularly effective "combo", as Necromancy requires Warfare points to properly scale up, and deals physical damage, making it not work especially well alongside Geomancy. Necromancer has all the benefits of physical damage, spell scaling, and insane damage. So my plan was to play with ivan and Lohse, since they are the only interesting characters i did not play with, so i wanted to try lone wolfing with them.
